Craniosacral Therapy

Upledger Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the function of your craniosacral system using soft touch. It was developed by osteopath John E. Upledger and involves apply light touch and pressure to your cranial, sacral, trunk, neck and extremities. Restrictions released in the craniosacral system have the ability to improve the function of your central nervous system. CST can help to alleviate aches, pains and the strains of life; allowing for better management of stress.

This therapy is beneficial for people who suffer from general body pains to specific body pain including but not limited to migraine headaches, neck and back pain, central nervous system disorders, chronic fatigue, emotional difficulties, stress and tension related problems, TMJ pain, Fibromyalgia, EDS and other connective tissue disorders.

There are considerable benefits to practitioners and clients who combine John F. Barnes’s Myofascial Release (MFR) approach with Craniosacral Therapy. When working with me sessions are MFR, so fascial based, and CST is interwoven into each treatment. If you have a request about one modality or the other, please speak to me I am open to listen to what you want for your session. Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapies work fluidly together and enhance your body’s natural healing process!
